AION Healthspan is a clinical-stage regenerative medicine company developing cell therapies derived from perinatal tissues to treat chronic inflammatory and age-related degenerative diseases. Its lead program, AION-301 (REJUVXL), is in a Phase 1/2 first-in-human trial for Stage 3 chronic kidney disease and diabetic nephropathy at the University of Miami. The company was co-founded by transplant pioneer Dr. Camillo Ricordi and builds on decades of research at the Diabetes Research Institute Cell Transplant Center.
